ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Sequoia

WHERE I COME FROM
I’m a proud Long Beach native and proud to call this city my home. I spent my early years living across the street from Houghton Park in North Long Beach, where my deep connection to the community first began. My family then moved to 60th and Myrtle, where I built lifelong friendships and memories. Later, we moved again, and I attended Poly High School, where I played basketball and ran track. I raised my children here in Long Beach, and it’s been incredible to watch them form lifelong friendships—many with the children of friends I grew up with—keeping our community connections alive across generations. I later founded a youth basketball league and track club that gave underprivileged kids affordable opportunities to participate in sports while emphasizing mentorship, growth, and community involvement. Long Beach is a city full of heart, resilience, and opportunity, and I’m proud to contribute to its thriving community.
A THRIVING CAREER
I began my real estate journey nearly 20 years ago as an investor, learning the business from the ground up and developing a deep understanding of property ownership, housing markets, and the challenges families and business owners face in finding the right opportunities to grow. After earning my real estate license—and later my broker’s license—I focused on helping both families achieve homeownership and entrepreneurs secure commercial spaces to launch or expand their businesses. Today, I operate a multi-state brokerage built on a family-like culture, where realtors are empowered to grow, thrive, and serve their communities with integrity.
Through my work in real estate, I’ve gained firsthand insight into how local businesses and property ownership shape and sustain our neighborhoods. I’ve seen the struggles small business owners face—from navigating rising costs and limited resources to finding affordable spaces to operate—and the vital role they play in creating jobs and building community pride. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to supporting both families and businesses so that Long Beach can continue to grow as a vibrant, inclusive, and economically strong city.
MY MISSION
Committed to Long Beach
My goal is to create meaningful, lasting change in North Long Beach by addressing the issues that matter most to our community. I am dedicated to helping those experiencing homelessness through rehabilitation, redirecting their paths, and rebuilding their lives, while also combating crime and human trafficking to make our neighborhoods safer for families.
I believe in supporting local businesses, bringing investment and opportunities to the 90805 area, and creating an environment where entrepreneurs can thrive. At the same time, I am committed to improving the cleanliness of our streets, enhancing public spaces, and advocating for more affordable and accessible housing. My focus is on building a city where every resident can live safely, prosper, and take pride in calling Long Beach home.
